Croxley Hall Carp Syndicate | Save the River Colne

19th March 2017
The River Colne is the lifeblood of the Colne Valley, for years it has been associated with specimen fish, highly valued by anglers, bird watchers and the general public. During recent years the water quality has deteriorated particularly in the Watford area where it flows through a totally urbanised environment. Over 180 surface water outfalls enter the Colne between Watford and Uxbridge with the potential to pollute, restrict water flow and cause flooding. A lot of work and education is required to save the River Colne for future generations. You can read more about it on Facebook where a new dedicated page has been set up called "Save the Colne"
